Just when you’ve committed to regular and you are starting to enjoy your exercise routine in the sun, along comes winter to spoil your drive and fun. Instead of looking forward to your jog around the neighborhood, you find yourself wanting to hibernate and drink hot chocolate.
Here are a few easy ways to keep fit indoors over the winter months.

When you don’t feel like exercising, don’t exercise much: try a mini-workout. I would suggest choosing exercises that work more than one muscle group at a time:
· Squats
· Lunges
· Push-ups (even modified ones)
· Planks
15-20 minutes per session is all you really need to stay strong and keep a little bit of fitness. For cardiovascular work, why not try a you-tube video or a HIIT workout – just go easy on the jumping activities when you start out.

Warm up. Put on some music that makes you feel like moving, and dance around the living room.
Walk up and down the steps.
Do your squats
Do your planks
Do your lunges
Do your press-ups
Do you crunches
Dancing along to the music
Feel happy
Cool down
