Are you one of the many women going through this transition stage in your life? You are not alone, and these issues have been discussed widely in the media, most recently by the BBC Breakfast News Team.

Besides the treatment available from your GP more women are turning to complementary ways of coping with their symptoms; some women experience mood swings, low mood and anxiety around the time of the menopause. They may also suffer from general aches and pains in their body, especially arms and legs.

Self-help measures such as getting plenty of rest, taking regular exercise and doing relaxing activities such as yoga and tai chi may help. But did you know having a regular massage can also be highly beneficial, for so many reasons?

If you’d like to book in for an appointment give me a call at the Harrison Clinic on T. 0118 976 2253. I hold Tuesday and Thursday clinics from 1.30 – 8.00 p.m. and I’d love to help you. I have been through this myself so we can share experiences.
