It was certainly a cold start this morning! If you are planning on exercising outdoors in the next few weeks here are some tips
Warm up (for at least 10 mins)
Stay hydrated, yes even in the cold.
Wear suitable reflective clothing and stick to lit areas where possible
Avoid listening to music near busy roads
Do not run in icy conditions, be sensible perhaps consider trying a new indoor exercise for a pleasant change, you might discover a love of tai chi!
For those with asthma, exercise-induced bronchitis, heart conditions, or Raynaud’s syndrome should speak with their doctor prior to exercising during cold weather.
