Carolyn Parfitt graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy. She he has worked within busy multi-disciplinary clinics in London and the South-East working with a wide range of patients.
As part of her Masters in Osteopathy Carolyn undertook extensive research in the field of chronic lower back pain and its treatment, working closely with other healthcare professions and NHS staff.
Carolyn is also a Lecturer and Clinic Tutor at The British School of Osteopathy, and is studying an MSc in Sports Medicine at University College London, Institute of Health and Sport Exercise.
Carolyn has also undergone further post-graduate training in Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Rehabilitation, Cranial Osteopathy, Pilates, Medical Acupuncture and Kinesio-Taping. In addition to her Masters Degree Carolyn qualified as level 4 Sports Massage Therapists in 2008 giving her a wealth of experience and enabling her to tailor treatments to meet patient needs.
Carolyn comes from a sporting background, having competed in and won several triathlons, half marathons, cycling events. These skills enable her to provide specialist exercise and rehabilitation advice to complement her osteopathic treatment.
When Carolyn is not busy working, or training she is normally found relaxing with friends or riding her horse.
