Vicky qualified from the University of Brighton in 2003 as a Chartered Physiotherapist governed by the Health Professions’ Council (HPC). Since qualifying she has worked in the NHS and private sector specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients. She has worked in conjunction with Orthopaedic consultants, Specialist Physiotherapists and Pain team Physiotherapists gaining a broad base of knowledge and skills in all areas. She has experience of a wide variety of conditions, both spinal and peripheral, including acute A & E consultant referrals to chronic complex conditions.
Since qualifying Vicky has continued to develop her professional skills, she is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) & qualified as a class instructor in Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) Modified Pilates for Physiotherapists. Vicky combines both of these skills in her Physiotherapy treatment (if it is appropriate). She also teaches Pilates in both a class setting and one to one setting.
Vicky is a loving wife and mother and spends a lot of time devoted to her family. In her spare time she enjoys walking the local countryside. Cross-country running is a keen hobby of hers. She has also run three marathons and several half marathons, raising money for charity.
