Wendy has many years’ experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist and treats a variety of Musculo-skeletal problems: back and neck pain, post-operative joint and spine problems, and sports injuries. She has worked at 5 Olympic Games, 3 Commonwealth Games and many World Championships alongside Rowing and Judo. Previously Wendy ran her own successful clinic in Caversham.
She incorporates manual skills with Pilates based deep core work and individual rehabilitation programmes to restore normal dynamic movement patterns.
Acupuncture is an additional skill Wendy can use in her treatment toolbox.
Wendy has written for various magazines on injury prevention and helped to write a booklet on empowering teen girls in sport. She has also lectured on the application of Rock Tape.
Wendy is a keen distance runner, having achieved a sub 3-hour marathon time. She is very keen on treating the patient holistically.
